Online Course

'Let’s cross live to the scene….' This online course will put you in the centre of the story as you learn the skills of the TV Presenter. Develop news stories and learn how to report both live on location and in the studio. Explore and apply presenting to camera skills and develop your on-camera confidence as you investigate the news as it unfolds.

Course Components

• Presenting: Understand and apply TV presenting technique.
• Voice: Introduction to how the voice works, exploration of fundamental vocal performance techniques.
• Creative Expression: Participate in fun and engaging exercises to develop new creative ideas.
• Performance: Apply acting, voice and movement practice to a short in class recorded presentation.

Resources Required to Participate

• Desktop, laptop or mobile with microphone and webcam
• Internet connection

Time Commitment

• Face to face via Zoom: 4 × 1.5 hour sessions
