Musical Theatre Workshop
For adults 18 years +
Level: Core Techniques
Develop specific skills in acting, singing and dancing. Working with discipline specialists, learn & practise fundamental techniques in singing, dancing and acting to develop your musical theatre knowledge, performance technique and stamina.
Course Components
- Develop basic jazz technique.
- Learn safe vocal techniques and apply them to musical theatre repertoire
- Learn Stanislavskian acting technique and apply it to the journey of a solo song
Outcomes
- Ability to learn and retain simple choreography
- Application of safe vocal technique to musical theatre repertoire
- Truthful character portrayal in acting through song.

- Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Clothing that restricts movement is inappropriate.
- Please wear closed in shoes. Shoes may be removed in the rehearsal room on the direction of the class tutor.
- Please bring along a pen, notebook and bottle of water to all classes.
