Overview
Unleash your creative potential with our introductory one-day Acting: An Introduction course. This immersive experience offers you the chance to explore the fundamental techniques of NIDA’s renowned actor training program in a nurturing environment where all students can thrive. Throughout the day you’ll engage in practical skills-based activities designed to encourage presence and ignite your passion for performance.
Under the guidance of a NIDA Open teaching artist, collaborate with your peers to build a strong foundation for your creative journey.
Components
- Improve your confidence and spontaneity by participating in a range of improvisation exercises.
- Collaborate with a scene partner and receive feedback from an industry expert.
- Discover the fundamentals of Realism technique in acting practice
Prerequisites
This is a Introduction course. Students do not require any previous training or equivalent experience.
