Overview

Gather round the toadstool to meet enchanted creatures at the bottom of the garden. Become elves, fairies, and fantastical beings for a day, crafting your own magical adventures and creating simple costume pieces.

At Elf School, you will dive into storytelling and explore characters while developing vocal and physical expression skills in an engaging and supportive environment. Taught by our experienced NIDA Open teaching artists, unlock your imagination and creativity, and get ready to share your favourite Elf School magical journeys with family and friends at the end of the day. 

Join us at NIDA Open for a day filled with wonder and drama, where every child can explore their inner-elf and let their imagination take flight! 

Components

• Creative play: Explore creative practice through group storytelling and physical adventure. 
• Performance Craft: Experiment with vocal and physical expression, create simple craft costume pieces, and gain an introduction to live performance. 

Prerequisites

This course is designed as an introductory experience for children who attend full time school (NSW Kindergarten equivalent).
