This two-day Fighting for the Stage Masterclass with Fight Director, Tim Dashwood, offers performers an intensive introduction to the principles of safe, dynamic stage combat.
Explore the fundamental skills for falls, rolls and pushes, and essential techniques for fighting with sticks, swords, and everyday props. For actors, the Fighting for the Stage Masterclass is a practical entry to dynamic contemporary stage combat training.
Develop the practical skills in safe practice and physical control to enhance storytelling. Integrate physical technique, character, narrative, and theatrical intention to create and present a short, choreographed fight scene.
