Screen Acting Techniques: Finding Your Frame

Overview

Jumpstart your screen acting journey with NIDA Open. Explore the fundamental elements of screen performance and create believable and authentic characters. Apply the basics of the Stanislavski system of acting and engage in the technical demands of screen as you rehearse and shoot scenes from film and television.   

Components  

  • Explore fundamental acting skills in voice, physicality and improvisation for the screen.   
  • Introduction to script analysis and character development.   
  • Explore the importance of camera angles, eyelines, and marks. 

Prerequisite 

This course is classified as Beginner.
