Screen Acting Techniques: On-Set Ready

Overview

Designed for screen actors seeking advanced training and professional insight, this course is fast-paced and performance-driven. Under the direction of an experienced industry practitioner, refine your skills through practical on-set performance techniques and detailed scene work drawn from contemporary film and television scripts.   

Collaborate with like-minded peers, receive in-depth direction, and prepare for the professional demands of the screen industry.   

Components  

  • Gain confidence in developing relationships and meeting the expectations of the screen industry 
  • Explore filming with a multi-cam set-up. 
  • Apply industry standard practices to advanced classroom exercises.  

Prerequisite 

This course is classified as Advanced. Students will be expected to work on scenes outside of course hours and arrive with a prepared script for week 1. Scripts will be sent to students the week prior to course commencement.
