Gillian Meisner-Lemon

Senior Program Manager

Gillian is an accomplished theatre director and acting teacher. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Theatre Directing at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London as well as a Bachelor of Education (Hons) from Queen’s University, Belfast.

She has worked extensively in the United Kingdom as both a director and acting teacher at a number of leading drama schools, and was Program Leader for the Foundation Certificate Program in Performing Arts at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) for nearly ten years. She was the Assistant Director on the Olivier Award-winning production Heroes for Ambassador Theatre Group and the Assistant Producer for the National Student Theatre Festival.

Supported by Arts Council England, Gillian founded and is the artistic director of said&done theatre company. The company co-produced Bash: The Latter Day Plays, When the Rain Stops Falling and Clybourne Park with Unity Theatre, Liverpool, UK. Gillian aims to continue the company’s work through a similar partnership with a Sydney theatre as well as pursuing international partnerships.
