Alison is a performer and workshop facilitator who has worked both in Australia and internationally for over 15 years. She holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Drama) from Monash University and also trained at the Le Coq School of Theatre in Paris. Alison has worked extensively in workshop facilitation most recently in Creative Play and Digital Education at the Sydney Opera House, physical theatre workshops at ATYP and NIDA Open, Ashfield Youth Theatre and as an independent specialist for various institutions around Sydney.

As a performing artist, she is particularly interested in movement based theatre and physical approaches to text. She is the Artistic Director of Hurrah Hurrah whose work has been developed at Sight and Sound Festival, Woollahra Council Artist’s residency, and commissioned by The Sydney Opera House. 2017 will see the show Trade travel to Adelaide Fringe as well as the development of two new works. She is a freelance producer and produced the Rapid Response Team Project for PACT Centre for Emerging Artists in 2016. Most recently, Alison performed in Troupe commissioned by the Bestival Music Festival (UK) and the new Australian film Zelos.
