Online Course

Work with a NIDA expert to develop your confidence and learn how to present yourself to a theatre or screen director. Develop your technique as you practice for theatre, film and TV auditions. Participate in a ‘mock audition’ and receive constructive feedback on your audition preparation and technique.

Course Components

• Text interpretation: Interpret and bring to life a short, written text for live and recorded performance.
• Industry knowledge: Learn what casting agents and directors expect from actors through the casting process.
• Audition Practice: Participate in simulated live auditions and screen tests.
• Audition preparation: Learn how to choose audition scripts that showcase your performance skill and understand audition preparation techniques.

• Desktop, laptop or mobile with microphone and webcam
• Internet connection

Time Commitment

• Face to face via Zoom: 4 × 2 hour sessions
