Overview

Unleash your creative potential and develop your confidence in spoken English through essential acting skills and performance techniques in a vibrant, collaborative environment. Develop skills in improvisation, movement, voice and basic text analysis under the guidance of a NIDA Open Teaching Artist.  

Our classrooms welcome a diverse cohort of students from all experience levels, with teaching artists who expertly differentiate learning to ensure all students are well placed to develop their skills based on their individual skills level.

Components

• Acting exercises to increase your confidence in speaking and acting. 
• Exercises to develop clarity and vocal confidence. 
• Analysis and performance of English language texts. 

Prerequisites

This is a beginner level course. Students do not require any previous training or equivalent experience. Students must have a basic understanding of spoken English and communication.  

Please note: This course is not a designed to teach English. This course will focus on developing your existing level of spoken English through acting technique.
