Costume Design Essentials

Overview

Unleash your creativity in this two-day introductory course dedicated to developing original character designs for the stage. This course provides the foundational tools to develop your craft, guiding you through the process of creating visually compelling and original character designs. Join us and take the first step toward becoming a skilled and imaginative costume designer.  

Components

  • Extract costume design concepts from a script and explore ideas through practical exercises and feedback. 
  • Apply rendering techniques to a costume design. 
  • Create a costume design for a character from a play or film to present to an audience. 

Prerequisites

Beginner Level. No previous experience required.
