In this course you’ll explore the principles of set and costume design through hands-on exercises, learning how to communicate character and story effectively to an audience. By examining various design elements, you’ll gain the skills to transform written narratives into captivating visual experiences that resonate with audiences.
You’ll be taught by a NIDA Open teaching artist with a wealth of industry experience in a supportive and encouraging environment where your creative ideas can really flourish. Join us to embark on a creative journey that will elevate your design expertise and bring your theatrical visions to life.
This course is Core Techniques. Some experience is recommended.
