Uncover the magic ‘if’, given circumstances, actions, objectives and stakes as you analyse a short script to uncover the inner life of the character. Work with a NIDA Open Teaching Artist and explore Stanislavski’s method in this intensive, fast-paced, and practical course.

Components
- Explore the Stanislavski System through practical exercises, including the ‘method of physical action’.
- Work with given circumstances, actions and objectives to unlock scripts and examine character motivation.
- Deconstruct the components of Realism to craft truthful Performances for the stage.
Prerequisites
This is a Introduction course. No previous training or equivalent experience is required.
